 Team
Cheetah, triumphed at the Sunbeam New England Triathlon tour held in
Sharon , MA on August 5, 2001.
Team Captain Betsy Palmer. gave the
team a competitive advantage early on by finishing the half mile swim in
record time.
Jitu Changela flexed his muscles during
the 15 mile second stage and further capitalized on the Teams' overall
standing. Initially, Jitu did experience difficulty with the chain
on his bike, but quickly managed to make up lost time. Upon being
tagged, Ken Vaishnav ran the final 4.5 miles of the course completing
the race within 1.45 hours.
Team Cheetah excelled at supporting
each other and forging stronger relationships within the team.
